[Hilarium ICO Talk] Statistics: ICO-related Web Sites Traffic by Countries

Hello everyone, this is Chris Kim from the HILARIUM FOUNDATION. 

For ICO to be launched successfully, we know that a lot of research and 
analysis are required.
At Hilarium, we are constantly observing  the traffics and how investments in 
ICOs are being made globally. 
Although I have no rights to disclose all the details fully, I will share some 
general information of the industry.

At present, it’s widely known that the US cannot participate in any ICO process. 
The data shows, however, that the US is still leading the ICO traffic globally. 
Korea, on the other hand, is not presented in the list of 13 top traffic countries. 
This indicates that, despite all the hype, Korea had been focusing more on 
buying and selling the coins rather than actually participating in ICOs.

Why should we study and participate in ICOs? 
Here’s an example. 
As those who participated in EOS ICO at its initial stage may know, the lowest 
price was 0.6 USD. 
After being listed on the exchange, the price went up to 25000 KRW (around 25USD).
Currently, the price has settled down to about 8000KRW (8USD). 

Due to their popularity, EOS Coins have been bought and used by many people
 just like stocks. 
Naturally, some suffered losses because the Coin volume went down entirely. 
Those who participated at an early stage of ICO, however, still had a lot of gains. 
(approx. 0.6 USD -> 7USD) The majority of them were those who had been 
studying and showing actual interest in the ICO participation. 

The following example may explain the reason why we should look more closely 
at the definition of ICOs. 
By studying ICOs thoroughly, you will be able to grasp the techniques and the 
general picture of the Coin market. 
This way, you will be able to make much more safe and confident investment 
decisions than just jumping into Coins like stocks. 

Now, I will demonstrate some ICO-related statistics for your reference. 

The image below is a Med-related data. 
It is the chart of Medibloc, an ICO hosted in Korea. 
The price first began at 0.067 USD, rose up to 0.32 USD, and is now constantly 
changing based on the market situation.



The chart below shows the traffic portion by countries. 
The analysis has been made based on 13 countries and 12 Websites. 
The US has expectedly come out as a leader.

There are many things to consider when participating in ICO.
But, what I want to remind you for today’s post is that the foremost thing is 
to study your potential ICO.
