Hello Everyone, this is Chris Kim from the HILARIUM FOUNDATION.
Yesterday, I went to the Blockchain summit to meet with co-investors and learn
about various ICOs.
The conference was held in Nonhyeondong, Seoul from 1PM to 6PM.
This was a great opportunity for me to meet new people and expand my understanding
of the blockchain ecosystem.
At the conference, 5 ICOs were introduced.
There were discussions about their technology, business prospects and future courses.
The five projects presented at the conference were:
1. Gifto: a virtual gifting platform built on smart contracts on the Ethereumblockchain.
It currently has 20million users.
2. Origin: a protocol for creating sharing economy marketplaces using the Ethereum
blockchain and IPFS.
3. BOOSTO: a decentralized blockchain platform that connects social media users
with the blockchain community. It forms a decentralized influencer economic system
based on 350k social media influencers.
4. SmartInsur: a protocol for opening up a next-generation insurance market by
bringing AI and blockchain together.
5. MovieChain: a decentralized movie distribution ecosystem based on blockchain
technology. It provides services such as instant file & app transferring.
Brilliant ideas and advanced technologies…no wonder Blockchain gets such attention
and anticipation.
Around 500 people joined the summit yesterday, including many participants from other
countries.
I could feel the enthusiasm and admiration of everyone at the conference.
Seeing the ICOs’ future potential and skills, I was also enthralled. From this conference,
I could really vision all the hype about Blockchain becoming reality.

Quite a lot of people came. The conference was filled with enthusiasm.
The majority of the participants were English-speaking people, along with many
translators and volunteers.
Today, I just briefly went over the information at the conference. More details
will be updated later.
I hope there will be more opportunities like this to be held in Korea.
I am thankful that I could learn a lot from this summit.
